Fear of teen pregnancy
Related to country: United States

I would like to analize why teens are getting pregnant? There are too many fears that come to my mind when i think of young girls lacking direction. What can I do to stop teens from getting pregnant and focusing on finishing school? Should there be more programs out there, like going to different schools informing young girls to abstain from such activities? What role can a morther play in promoting responsible , and positve social behavior ?

About this category: Culture

I think today was a great oppertunity for all of us kids at S.O .T .F. ( School of the future). I think that it was a big eyeopener to the people that came from the different countries, because they learned how we function and how we live and learn at the School of the future. To me this was a big eyeopener for me in general, because I learned about how things are being functioned outside of the country I live in. I really enjoyed it alot and I sure they did. I am happy i got to expeirence this today.

involuntary trafficing
About this event: 2006 United Nations Conference on Human Rights Migration and Development

involuntary traficing is a very bad thing to do to people. i dont think that it was right to take people from there home town and moved them to where ever and treat them like they want to.
1. why do they do this?
2. do the people like when they do it?
3. if you dont go will they kill you?

Voluntary and Involuntary Migration
About this event: 2006 United Nations Conference on Human Rights Migration and Development

The article I read was about Voluntary and Involuntary migration. It was basically talking about the different reasons why immigrants eave ther home palces and move to different places voluntary or involuntary. So they gave and example of a girl named Tina who was 27 years old. They talked about how she lefft Uganda to find her boyfriend, but where she lived was falling apart anyway; She went to go find her boyfriend in Manchester. Also how the girl Tina made it and found her boyfriend and she sent backserveral thousand pounds back to Uganda to plot land and herold house to be knocked down. This is basicallywhat this one article was about. This would be a case of voluntary migration because she wanted to leave where she lived. But some involuntary migration moght be because of natural disasters or life or death situations.

Trafficking of women

I could not believe the things that were posted in that entry.
That is like the next slavery and i don't like that a little bit. Just to think that there are parents that consent to give their children up because of manipulation is just down right crazy. I couldn't imagine something like the happening to someone in my family.

trafficing of women

I really don't think that trafficing on women was a good thing to do because the people that did that to the women in their family. Because I wouldn't want them to do that to any of the many women in my family, So i wouldn't do it to nobody else. And thats just the way i feel about trafficing on women.
